Be part of MN350’s first Canopy Solutions Training and help grow a cooler, healthier Minneapolis!
In Minneapolis Green Zones, limited tree canopy means hotter streets, poorer air quality, and higher energy costs. Expanding the canopy brings cooler temperatures, cleaner air, and stronger, healthier communities. This training will give you the knowledge and skills to be part of that change. Participants will receive a $100 stipend after completing the 2-part training.

-Maintenance strategies to keep trees thriving
-Links between urban forestry, climate justice, health, and energy savings
-How to join future tree plantings with Great River Greening
This virtual session is led by experienced partners who will guide you from planning to planting and care. You’ll leave ready to act in your neighborhood and help build a resilient urban forest!
