Neighbors Together Towards a Sustainable Future: The Headwaters Community Food & Water Bill

April 25, 2021, 4:30pm - 5:30pm

What is the Headwaters Bill, and why do we need it? Join us for a virtual event on Sunday, April 25 from 4:30-5:30pm to learn about about the Headwaters Community Food & Water Bill - a visionary piece of legislation that will invest our public dollars in the resilient, regenerative, and inclusive food economy we need to meet the challenge of climate change. MN350 is promoting this bill as a strategic, just climate solution. Our Headwaters Campaign volunteers will be joined by Marita Bujold, activist and architect of the bill, and Representative Kaohly Her (64A), chief author of the bill in the Minnesota House, to answer our questions and visualize how a robust source-to-table regenerative food economy can help all of our communities live sustainably.
