St Paul 350 Ward 6 Candidate Forum
October 1, 2019, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
The only open seat in the St. Paul city council elections is also in the Ward that faces the most risks related to climate change, according to St. Paul’s Climate Action and Resilience Plan. So we’re hosting a Ward 6 Candidate Forum on Energy Democracy, Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 6:30-8:00pm at Arlington Hills Community Center in St. Paul.
Transitioning to clean, renewable energy can end the harmful pollution caused by burning fossil fuels. But this transition also has implications for jobs, housing, transportation, and health—it is an opportunity to end the inequities that put Ward 6 communities at greater risk in the first place.
