Stop the sale of Coal Creek

Urge the Great River board to reject the sale of this climate catastrophe
The Coal Creek plant in North Dakota generates massive amounts of carbon pollution. Last year its owner, Great River Energy, announced it would close the money-losing plant in 2022. Now the fossil fuel industry is pursuing a backroom deal to bail out Coal Creek and keep it running.
Great River supplies electricity to 28 co-op utilities and 700,000 co-op members in Minnesota. Use our simple form to call on Great River’s board to help block the sale of Coal Creek and avoid a climate catastrophe.
