Prioritize Justice: People’s Climate & Equity Plan for Minneapolis

Right now there are two climate and energy issues where we can make a difference. Our People’s Climate and Equity Plan teams are working to pass bold goals and a robust fund -- a Minneapolis Green New Deal -- to address our climate and racial equity crises simultaneously.
We will have time to break into small groups for discussion as well as take immediate action by calling our respective city council members to encourage their support of the People’s Climate & Equity Plan.
People who live, work or worship in Minneapolis are encouraged to stay from 8-9 pm and learn about Xcel's proposed rate hike, and take action during the event. Your voice matters for our renewable energy future!
7-8 pm: The People's Climate and Equity Plan for Minneapolis
8-9 pm: Xcel Energy's 21% Rate Hike for Residential Electricity Customers
